I had a great day yesterday. We deciding to hiking at Bridgeport. Even though it was a bit hot, there was a lot of great scenery. We got to Bridgeport, and even though there were a ton of cars and people there we somehow still got a great parking spot. We put on our hiking boots and grabbed out backpacks on started crossing the trail. Things were staring to get a little brown up there, but there was still some greenery. We kept a watchful eye out for both rattlesnakes (never saw any) and poison oak (lots). We hiked all the way to Lake Englebright where we relaxed quite a bit. It was hot, so we deciding to get in the water. Brrrr, the water was freezing and we would only get up to our knees and quickly get out.
There was not much wildlife to be seen besides birds, a lizard, and a jumping trout. There were to many people out there due to the Forth of July weekend, but it was still enjoyable. After hiking, we drove to Grass Valley and had dinner at Frank's Pizza. What a great way to end any adventure.
