Saturday we started out by going to breakfast at Cricket. After that we drove up to Auburn to visit some friends. We got some ice cream in old town there, and then visited the GOLD COUNTRY MEDICAL HISTORY MUSEUM in Auburn.
This was a fun museum that is free to visit. It was in operation during the Gold Rush. I was able to see some of the instruments that they used at that time. Some of them seamed barbaric. This included shocking patients and drinking formaldehyde. This museum is growing and worth visiting if you want something free to do.After visiting the museum, we went and ran some errands. One of them including going to a feed store. At that store we saw baby chickens for sale. We were holding them. Then we drove to their home and hung out with the horses. We took the horses for a walk up the street and back. I don't have much experience with horses, but and grateful that I can now get the exposure.
Sunday we ended up going to church. Afterwards we went to another friends home for brunch. Great times - great friends. The rest of the day was just about relaxing.
Living for the weeking. I am glad this is only a four day week.
