Tron 2

Tron 2 has been annouced as a movie that should be released in 2011. The original Tron movie came out in 1982, and was the first CG (computer graphics) movie. It stared Jeff Bridges and Kevin Flynn. Here is a teaser trailer.

Eureka - Season 3 Premiere

Tonight is the premiere of Season 3 of Eureka on the Sci Fi Channel.   I am getting together with some friends tonight to watch this episode.   If you have never seen or heard of this show visit their webpage at www.scifi.com.eureka .   From there you can watch full episodes from last season.

Bell Choir & Dinner

Last night I went to watch a Bell Choir that a friend was performing in. I then went out to dinner at Garcia's with a bunch of friends. It was nice spending time with them, as It has been months since I have seen most of them.

Helicoptor Flying Over American River

While I was watching the Eppies Great Race, I was getting a kick out of watching the helicoptor fly over the American River. You can see the video cameraman in the back left seat filming the race. This helicopter was flying extremely low where the wash from the propellor was making a lot of waves in the river.

Eppies Great Race

Today I went out to Sunrise and the American River where I was watching the Kayak portion of Eppies Great Race. This was their 35th annual race with includes bicyling, kayaking, and running.

Installing New Server

Today at work I am setting up a new server.   This will be used for file storage.

Waiting With Friends at Apple Store

Last night I went to the Apple Store with a few friends and hung out while they purchased their new IPhone 3Gs. Line wait time was about two hours. Store time to purchase five different IPhones and accessories was about an hour and a half. The memories - priceless.

Nintendo WII - Keyboard & Web Browsing

Today at E3, Logitech announced that they are coming out with a keyboard that hooks to the Nintendo WII. This will make the Opera browser actualy work. I hated using the WIImote to type in everything

Learning the Bass Guitar

A couple of months ago I purchased an Ibanez Bass Guitar and Roland Amp. As most of you know, I did not know how to play any instruments, but I am trying to change that. This was purchased to to use as a way to relax. I have no intentions of playing worship or anything.

I am trying to learn to play this on my own using videos, web, and books. At this point I do not want to dedicate the time into regular lessons. This will be an interesting adventure for me.

Why I am changing my email address

I have been using my current email address for a few years now. It is a decent address, and I do not get much spam on it. The problem is that it is tied to my home internet provider. Changing my address will make sure that I am never stuck with them, and keeps me in control.

I have also wanted to try to keep all of my computers and IPhone all synced together. I do not want to be stuck with webmail only as I prefer Email Applications. I wanted to be able to open any computer and read any of my emails sent or received. I also wanted all of my contacts to be fully synced automatically. I have not used calendars on computers much due to the fact that I did not want to keep up syncing them all together.

A couple of days ago Apple released their MobileMe service. They are offering a free 60 day trial to try out their services. I went ahead and got the trial, and have fallen in love with their service. It does not matter if I am on my Vista computer with Outlook, on my IMac with mail.app, on my MacBook Pro, on my IPhone, or on any computer with web page access. I can fully get access to all my emails, contacts, and calendar. They also offer web space(which I do not plan to use), virtual disk storage, and many other features.

I will be switching all my email usage to this new address. Within a couple of days, I will be emailing my friends and family with my new email address.
