Bodega Bay

We had a great weekend in Bodega Bay.   We ended up renting a small cottage that was right on the ocean.   The deck was right over the ocean.   It was nice to sit out there and relax.   Seeing the occasional seal and sea lion swim by.   The sunset was magical.   Enjoy the video I shot.

Christmas Lights

Saturday night we went out looking at Christmas lights.   We hit Dove Ct in Orangeville, and there were WAY TO MANY PEOPLE there.   Check out some of the Dove Ct lights in our images below.

Grinding Rock State Park

We had a great Sunday. We started with driving up to Jackson and eating cheeseburgers. We then drove to Grinding Rock State Park in Pine Grove. At the park we started by visiting at musuem, and seeing some of the native american artifacts. We also got to hear about how some of the parks are going to be affected by closures.

After the museum, we walked over to the huge rock that had over 1,000 Grinding Holes that the native americans ground up acorns and seeds in. Some of these dated back 2,000 to 3,000 years.

Then we checked out the village, and took photos of ourselfs in some of the dwellings.

We then hiked around keeping a careful eye out for rattlesnakes. Luckly we did not run across any. To reward ourselves for the days adventures, we went out for ice cream afterward. Yummm. Got to love the weekends.

Saturday & The Drive

So far I have been having a great weekend. On Saturday, we ended up going to a company picnic at Gibson Ranch. They had great food. I ended up having Prime Rib. I got to meet a lot of people. We ended up playing bingo trying to win Gift Cards. There was also some raffles. Neither of us won anything though :(

Afterward, I just felt like driving around on back roads. The theme seemed like aircraft as we kept running into them. Some of the things we saw were the back side of the airport. We also saw some private runways and hangers. After the drive, I wanted a milkshake so bad. I went into a hole in the wall and we both had pineapple milkshakes. Yummm. Not the best, but still very good.

Now it is Sunday, and who knows what is in store for today. I love doing stuff unplanned.
